The first Workshop "Udates on HIV and related co-infections" organized in Venice last November was very successful and the 2nd Workshop will be again in Venice from 4th to 6th March 2009. There will be a whole day of sessions dedicated to the "Top Topics" of 16th CROI with the presentation, endowed with their webcasts, of the outstanding lectures and outcomes.

Sessions will then be animated by discussions in Round Tables with Italian and International opinion leaders. A highly representative Faculty from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine has also been invited.

Similarly to the 1st Edition, a substancial part will be reserved to the problems of the HIV co-infections related to the Hepatic viruses.

A considerable portion on the session on Opportunistic Infections will also be covering the increasing TB phenomenon  in HIV+ patients, with lectures given by specific experts of real worldwide reputation.
